wait....

when did adder fix his engine?

reminds me of that kid with a engine-less notch and he was still faster then me somehow
EH ????? LOL. I think that is the correct Canadian greeting. Wonder how mad he gets when he reads **** about him. I didnt know him long enough to despise him like some do, he was a funny kid though. I wish him luck in getting that FAST car put together, I was never convinced he had everything and was ready to drop the engine in, but what do i know.

Oh, I like the idea of beating a newer Mustang. I've been trying to race a neighbor of mine with a mint 98 GT...beautiful thing really, with an offroad X and catback. It sounds and looks awesome. The other day, I rolled up alongside of him in third, going around a slight bend. He downshifted and got on it, and his car started screaming. I didn't downshift, just layed on it in third, and kept right alongside him easily. I was probably at about 2800 rpms when I got on it. I've been trying to line him up at a light for the last couple weeks, but he keeps putting it off. I don't know, but he may be worred that my $3k car might destroy him. Actually, I've driven a 96 and a 98 GT, and both times thought the engines were broken...they were so slow. I did beat a 90's Z28 today...5speed too. I thought it would have been faster.

By the way, anyone have 1/4 miles times for 96-98 Civics...I mean...Mustang GTs? Sorry, I confused the two because they pull the same. Thanks.

I gotta agree with Adder, the last time i saw a 96-97 GT at the track he couldn't get out of the 15s. Meanwhile stock '95 Cobras are running low 14s, kinda not the same thing.

Now there's a firebreathing 305

unless it was 93-up. in that case, congrats.

I loved my 97 GT when I had it, but I don't miss the weak NPI 4.6. I love the 94 GT I share now.

From driving the two it feels like this 94 5 speed vert with 2.73s pulls harder than my 97 coupe with 3.27s...

Can't imagine how the 94 is gonna be with 3.73...

Good race. I remember one time with my 97 I raced another that looked identical to my car but it was automatic, and what do ya know we stayed dead even.

for 275hp, the LT1 is pretty weak IMO...

i raced one and it was dead even with me pulling pretty hard in the beginning but of course, up top the 5.7L will eventually pull away

i saw the owner a couple weeks after we raced and he was in a brand new STI. he said i was the reason he sold it hahaha. then he started saying how the STI would smoke me which it would but who pays $30,000 for a 300hp car and talks smack? sad

ive driven my share of mustangs and by FAR the fox is the most fun to drive. plus, EVERYONE has an sn95 or s197 here in miami fl so its nice to be in a smaller group of people
and nice notch's are even rarer
Not around here, but most of them are piece of crap rusted 4 bangers.
