Ran my car at the track for the first time yesterday. Hot as hell outside, about 95 degrees...Not sure of track temp but Im sure it was up there...Car is basically stock except for a CAI, shift kit, x-pipe and flows...even has the orginal plugs and wires...yeah I know I need to change those...

1st run...15.426 @ 91.07 2.337 60'
2nd run...15.503 @ 90.34 2.387 60'
3rd run...15.426 @ 90.84 2.365 60'
sounds to me like you're launching all wrong

your short time is killing you. When my car still had the AOD the best 60 I could get was a 2.0 with 4.10s. I don't know if the AOD and the AODE work the same way but, I ran my best time holding the brake and reving the motor up then launching and doing the shuffle shift. Gears and some tires you'll be in the 14's

Good times man. Were you spinning off the line? The stock convertor makes it a problem to leave the line hard with little power. Gears will really help out and you'll probably need some sticky tires once you get the gears in.

hmmm I thought a 94 gt ran 14.9 stock?

1994 Ford Mustang GT 6.1 14.9
Those are 5 speed times.

My 94 GT ran 14.8 @ 93 mph.. It had 201k miles on it. I had just done a tune up, and the car has been really well taken care of. It is a 5.spd however with 3.08 gears and a brand new spec clutch and new tires. My 60ft. was a 2.014..

I'm thinking with gears and some sticky tires it's quite possible to see a 13.9-14.1 out of my basically stock car.
