Default quick question...??

does anyone know if older 60's and70's 289/302 non roller blocks are stronger than roller block???

Not enough to really matter, unless it's a Boss 302, Mexican 302 or a true 289 Hi Po block

ive heard that the older block had a higher nickel content and thicker webbing

I don't know way you guys sow afraid to go with an stock block I'm running 331 17 psi 575 rwhp on an stock block.for tow years
