Thats around what I thought too but is that insulting? Hmmm....see what happens tomorrow with this other hatch first, and if that falls through, maybe I will offer, after I drive and inspect more.

yeah 3700 is way too much I paid 2300 for a 86 gt convertible I had and it was in fairly decent shape with 151,000 miles

ya its way too much. i got a 87 gt that had 218,000 miles on it for $1200 bucks and it was in mint condition. but it sure was a hell of a car, would boogie lol.

You dont need to worry about insulting him, offer him what you think it is worth, all he can do is say yes or no. Also check with state and see if there are any special requirements for getting a car with a reconditioned title registered. IMHO i would stay away and keep looking.

My car BB at just over 800 bucks.....BB isn't accurate.
Trudat, a lot of times BB is way off.

Chances are I'd never buy a car with that many miles on it...

what do you mean reconditioned? rebuilt? the way the vehicle sounds and i really wanted it i would pay a dime over 1500
