wow thanx for all the quick replies, so ill put gears on my list, im not too sure about what size gears to get? is there a link that i can learn about them? so the higher the number goes(2.73 to 4.1) the quicker the acceleration right? but less top speed? or is it the other way around? with imports i didnt really worry about the tranny and gearing lol sorry if i sound like too much of a noob
Yes, the higher the numerical number, the more accelleration you will have. Don't worry about the top speed. I have 4.10's in my 91 and can run it out to about 135mph. Most people will not go that fast and personally I rarely drive 80mph so as they say "don't fear the gear." If you have an auto I would suggest 4.10's, if a manual, 3.55's or 3.73's depending on your plans for the car.

It wont take seconds off. You will need to spend much alot more money to take seconds off. The cheapest way to take around 1 second off your time is nitrous.

Gears and tires dropped me roughly half a second, and i only went from 3.08 to 3.55. After gears and install it might seem expensive but it will give you a lot more than TB, MAF, UD pullies, etc...

How much can you guys buy K&N cone filters for? Around here they're like the same price as i paid for my whole ebay intake with filter.
