my buddy runs a moser spool in his car and likes it, c-clip eliminators are beneficial because if the axle brakes you wont loose the wheel. However instead of using the eliminators use 9in ends as they wont leak like most c-clip eliminators do

Don't they have a different bolt pattern then 8.8's? Or do you have to cut the 8.8 and weld on part of an axle tube from a 9in?

Yes they have to be cut and the 9" ends welded on.

Both are probably equal. Here's a link for the c-clip eliminator install.

Anytime bro. I thought I had a link to a 9" end install but I don't. That takes a lil bit more work and by a pro obviuosly.

If you're going to run a spool, go right for the 33 spline axles. They should be close in price to the 31 spline if not the same. I run all Moser stuff.
