Actually, I'm sure it would work because it is literally nothing more than a resistor in a fancy little package. All it does is trick the car into sending more fuel into the mixture, thus giving you more HP. You can do the same thing for about $2 in parts at Radio Shack. It's not technically a "chip" in the sense that most people are thinking (where you plug it into the J3 port of hte car's computer.)
