Default help idle problem??? cuts off!

Ok so I just finished replacing both head gaskets on my stang, as well as a few other things (water pump, spark plugs, removed ac, spark plug wires, header leak). We fired it up last night for the first time in 9 months [&:] and it drove pretty good! Couple things I noticed, it didn't feel slower but it didn't feel any faster either which it should have because that car was FUKCED UP before. But that could be due to the fact that the battery was dead and I was running off only alternator power?

Anyway the main annoyance is once the car warms up you have to keep the revs up otherwise it will shut off if u let them drop too low. Now this was a problem I had even before we did all that work I just figured it would be fixed after all the stuff we did. So that brings me to think its some kind of idle control sensor? Anyone else have this problem or any idea's???

it could be that the iac ( idle air control) valve is going or gone bad.

try cleaning the iac motor, make sure you have a good battery and after cleaning and or replacing the iac motor perform a idle relearn....but most importantly make sure there are no vaccum leaks or hoses left off that would create vaccum leaks

Yeah we made sure to fix any busted lookin hoses, repaired everything to a T, that's why I figured it was some kind of sensor.
