1. Parts Availability.
2. Ease of Modification
3. True American Muscle Car
4. Cost Effective
5.It outperforms majority of traffic.
6.I can fit in tight parking spaces and manuever through traffic well, cause its so little.
7.When Suspension and chassis is setup properly , it handles corners with quick recoveries.
I have owned modern Chevy's and Foreign Cars, a Camaro, and a few others, but I must say, the Fox Mustang has unique American Style and Feel , that never gets boring.
They are the #1 car at the 1/4 mile tracks the audience wants to see and prompted production and implementation of aftermarket automotive performance parts and acessories.

TORQUE!! I was 19 year old Marine back in 93 and my second car was 92 5.0 LX. I just fell in love with torque that pushed me into my seat. And with no emission law in South Carolina, my car sounded like a vintage P-51 Mustang from WW2 .

RE: Why'd you buy a fox?
I wanted a muscle car. There is no way in hell I could afford the big block 1970 Dodge Charger which I drool over. Never like Chevy's so the camaro was out. I have a Dodge Daytona Shelby which is almost as fast as my FOX, but not as easy or cheap to modify. When It came time to buy my Mustang, I almost bought an integra GSR but I realized that I could buy a mustang cheaper, and it was faster to boot. (not to mention, it drives thr proper wheels. I knew I wanted a 5.0L engine, casue the non PI head GT's are slow with out lots of mods, and PI headed cars are too expensive. Then I decided that I wanted the FOX simply because I don't like the exterior looks of the SN95, and I have always liked the hatchbach style of car.
