A properly setup carb'd application with good gearing is capable of achieving excellent mileage. It's easier to do with FI, but can be done with a carb. I get around 20-22 highway, but have no overdrive and do a lot of driving in the mountains(up and down hills). I'm starting to experiment with driving slower and easier to see how good I can get my mileage. So no more 80mph for me [>:]
