hey everyone just wondering on what your take is on the best time to buy a sports car is? I want to get another 5.0 (havent had one for 5 months) and just wondering if you guys think that fall is the best time to get one?

exactly right, best time to buy a car is when you dont need it.

I bought mine in Feb, I got it for 1500 under what he was asking in the summer time. All this guy sold was mustangs and talons though so he was desperate to sell

I have been looking and there is nothing around here for sale that i like that is a 5-speed. (southern mn) I have been looking on ebay and find ones i like but they are so far away, but hopefully i will just come across another like i did the last time.

A clean and worth while stang is hard to find... dont settle for the first POS that rolls up. take you time, search aound. Im sure if you ask nicely enough... someone like myself would be willing to scope out a stang for you if you find one in MY neck of the woods.

then ofcourse, its just a plane ticket out, and gasoline back

I was on ebay one night looking at ebay randomly at 5.0s and decided i wanted one and then the next day i just happened to see one and bought it. then i guess someone wanted it worse then me so i cut it loose, that was 5 months ago and have the itch again.

Middle of Winter of course...it's just like the best time to buy a snowmobile is during spring/summer.

autotrader.com usually has alot of stangs for sale .. and the best time to buy is just like everyone says when ya dont need it anytime after summer fall
