87 tune or not to tune

87 tune or not to tune
I was wondering if I had my car tuned would it get any better performance even though i really don't have much mods.
o/r h-pipe

cai
and MSD cap, rotor,wires, coil
if not when is it recommended to get a tune(which mods)

why would it need a tune? you have nothing that affects the air/fuel ratio even remotly[&:]
a tune is neccecary when you upgrade the main components of an engine, H/C/I(Heads/Cam/Intake) or add boost

thanks guys, It's just seems that everyone i know gets a tune done. Most of my friends have 05 or newwer though. Someone said it would run better even though no serious mods yet. If i do a mass air conv. would it need one.

would it be worth to tune my 87??? i have an f cam, rpm2 upper and lower, 70mm throttle body, stock maf, stock injectors, off road h, stock heaads w/ 190, 160 valves and 3.73s and a 195 fuel pump...thanks
