I am in need of a spare tire for my 88 GT. I am planning on going to the junkyard on saturday and was wondering if anyone knew what cars had spares that would work on my 88. Its kind of rare to see a mustang with the spare still, but if say an escort spare would work, they are loaded with them. So again, if anyone knows what cars had spares that will also fit a fox, I would appreciate it. I should add that the car still has the original 4 lug pony's on it.

hey no problem. both of the one's i got are in excellent condition and if you dont find any in the junk yard let me know. i have five lug wheels now so i cant use them.

Those spares you have, what diameter are they? I went to the junkyard on Saturday, but the only things I found were 14". Since I have 16" ponys, I was thinking I should find a spare that is 16". Is that right, or did ford only make up to a 15" spare wheel/tire for 5.0 stangs?
