Yep, he used the coil packs off a 96-98 Mustang also. You can see them back along the firewall.
I was going to use those too, but was told the LS1 coils are a little better coil.

And its just Chevy coils, everything else came off an Explorer and V6 Mustang

I was going to turn my TB to the front also, but after much measuring and head scratching
we figured there just wasnt enough room.

You could use a ram air hood and feed it into your TB.

Sweet setup for a relatively low cost.

Well the new CHORD engine is still coming along at a snails pace.

They got the LS1 coils mounted on the valve covers finally by welding
small studs to the valve covers. Looks awesome.

Had to cover up breather holes, so broke down and got a Moroso crank case
vacuum pump to. Will tap into the sides of the valve covers with AN fittings and plumb
down to the vacuum pump with -12 braided hose like you see on race engines.
Should be good for another 5-10hp too

They promised today , and still hadn't got jack shyt done for the wiring of the coils into the AEM
Getting real sick with their lack of progress. Cars been in their shop for 3 months now[:@]

Yes as soon as its running again will start with the TT

just installed the alternator bracket to move it over and they are
supposed to be moving the battery for me as part of this work too.
