buying a 5.0 looking for advice.
ORIGINAL: RODRIGUEZ
$3,000 for it and only 32,000 original miles?
Thats a hell of a deal, if he wasn't your Uncle would have he had sold it for more?

I paid $3,000 for mine with 32,000 original miles, but I bought it from my uncle who was the original owner. When I was looking to buy one about 7 years ago I think it was $4000 or so for a decent high mileage 5.0 convertible

I bugged him about selling it to me for 6 years before he finally did haha. the reason he didn't sooner is because he said he would feel bad if I got hurt in it...
sounds like you and your dad talked that guy down to a good deal for your mustang too!
I spent over a year looking for mine.Looked ata ton and learned alot. The only advice I can give is look around not to rush into the first one. I drove 7 hours one way tolook at mine. Good luck
