Im looking to build a motor over the winter to kill some boredom while the track is closed. This car is a DD. Id like to here some different engine combos as well as your results, time it took to build, and how much it cost in the end.

im doin the same thing you are over the winter

so far i have planned for a 347 short block, custom cam, holley intake, canfield heads, various fuel, air, and suspension upgrades to match, stall converter and tranny cooler. should end up being around 6,000 for it all. im lookin to make between 360 and 400 horsepower on the motor. then if i have any money left ill get a nice shot of giggle gas and aim for around 475ish. im aiming for low 12's maybe even 11's. but i dont want to put my goal too far out of reach.
