Default engine stand

I am looking into buying an engine stand, just curious towhat kind you guys like and areusing

I was looking at 2different models

the one I used was just a $40 Advance Auto parts one, worked plenty good.

yeah dude no problem. I think they sell engine hoists for like $190 also.

I will put off the engine hoist until I am ready to drop the motor in... might rent one or something

Yeah, i was lucky enough to borrow one from a guy i knew. $40 for ane engine stand is pretty reasonable though, after shipping on eBay you'd be better off getting it local.

yeah I will invest in the engine stand for sure, I have a 351w block I just bought so I will be building that on the stand,

If you're putting together and engine, get the 2nd one. The 1st one is just a stanf and wont let you turn the block over when you need to. Local parts places are easier or if you have a harbor freight nearby, they have them too.
