Patriot Heads and Steeda #18 = 300 RWHP
Just read an article in the new 5.0 magazine and they did a write up on the new Patriot 185 heads with a steeda #18 cam. Made just over 300 at the rear wheels... Not too bad.
I have the heads, now I just need the cam. I ran out of money thanks to being a retard and not being able to do the work myself for the head swap and piston repair.
Me thinks those be good numbers for head and cam swap on a 5.0... Thoughts?

I don't think that's too bad but I was kinda expecting more. the AFR 165s have higher potential than that, let alone the AFR 185s.

We have those heads coming in next week and they will be on sale on our site as well as in an intro post on here. I have two cars that we are doing builds on to showcase these new heads with our induction and tuning to see what we can net. The heads list for $950 and are selling for $895 but we'll do an intro to the first 5 sets at $850 shipped for the forums members.
Keep in mind they hit 302 rwhp with a 140k miles motor and a cobra recast intake. Not bad at all especially considering the price. The 75 lbs of weight saving over the stock iron heads would make these a great deal for the price, the performance gains are a complete bonus.
Stay tuned as we get a couple cars with these and some different cams and intake combos rolling to see what we can make with them.
