Ok now the next question is,
Do you screw the firewall adjuster all the way out to start adjustments or all the way in......
I am having a helluva time getting the freeplay right with a BBK quadrant and firewall kit.
Thanks

i always start with the fire wall adjuster about half way out then adjust the cable at the bottom that way i dont have to get underneath it any more.

Did you shave off the 4 lil tabs on the cable where it goes into the fire wall adjuster? The cable end will not slide inside the adjuster w/ those still on it.

Oh and the problem I had getting the adjusting paw off was the spring holding it on. I went through the hole in the firewall and pryed mine off also

yeah I shaved them off, also shaved a slice of my thumb off with the utility knife I was using

also I took the spring off from underneath with a flat-head screwdriver, just the damn pawl refused to come off the next day, not even 30 seconds with a crow bar and the fu*ker just slide right off
