nope, all 4 are still down... wonder if itll pick one up w. the skinnies thought??? ive yet to run with them, lol... i think the 3.73s will deffinatly do the trick tho... i just want a pic of that,

Well I use to have an Explorer and after i recked it I got the 8.8 to swap into my next truck. Well that has 3.73s in it so Im going to swap that out.
I just found out I have an 8.8 Posi with 3.05 gears. Not sure how those gears are but they still scare me sometimes.
I was talking to my friend that races and he said all I need is an like a K&N Cold Air Intake and just a Chip for the ECU. Im in the process of buying pipe for a straight pipe too. After a little tweeking to the computer I was told I could reach the 12s.
Would that work?
I just found out I have an 8.8 Posi with 3.05 gears. Not sure how those gears are but they still scare me sometimes.

I dont see you anywhere close to 12s with a cold air intake and a chip. Are you putting the 3.73 in the car? Either way I think youre gonna need a little more...not trying to be harsh its just the truth...

my 95 gt 5speed with 3.73s, pro 5.0 short throw, bbk shorties, bbk catted xpipe, 245/45/17 street tires, bbk underdrive pullies I am at like 14.2 ish, Maybe I could hit closer to a 14.0 with a cold air intake considering the intake is still stock down to the paper filter at the moment.

ive got a 95 5.0 with cold air intake and complete exhaust.
and my best was a 9.58 in the eigth which turns out to be around a 14.9 in the quarter.
and just so u know they dont make chips for our cars, you have to buy a tunning program like tweecer or get it dyno tuned.
but ur buddies wrong.
get gears, good tires, suspension, and learn to drive good.
