1991 5.0. it has the following visible mods, BBK cold air, Eddy 70mm TB, complete Cobra Intake, March billet under drive pullies, Motorcraft Performance dizzy with 9mm Ford race wires, full length headers,h pipe,no cats,no O2 sensors, and flows. I got under the car today and noticed it had no O2 sensors in the headers, but the headers do in fact have provisions for them after being drilled. Idk but this may be the problem.

No o2's, that's a problem that needs to be corrected first.

Is the miss all the time? At idle, during cruise, hard acceleration. You need to be more specific and descriptive about what's going on. What are the condition of the tune up parts?
When it starts missing, trying to die, it is all the time, cruise, idle, wot. All the parts look good, checked the dizzy, checked the maf, everything looks ok. There are not any engine lights on when it does this either,so idk if codes will pull or if they can be pulled. I will just be going down the road and wammo! it starts missing and dieing, kina like it is running out of gas or something. thanks for the help 50.
So is the problem intermittent? Does it run well at all and if so, when in the driving cycle. When it's cold and then as the engine warms up it becomes an issue? Maybe it is running out of gas. Do you have axcess to a f/p gauge?
As soon as I leave the house and get down the road (not far at all) it starts, maybe after the engine gets a little warm, but before the 150 mark. I do not have access to a fuel preasure gauge but I will see what I can do, where are the fuel filters loated on these cars?

Ok, I see that there are two wires hanging down that have plugs on them that are close to where the O2's should be, so i am estimating these are in fact the O2 sensor wires. What do those little guys usually run?

Ok so when the car is cold, it runs ok?

The f/f is located in the back of the car above the diff on the right side of the car. The filter is the part on the right in the back ground

The o2's can run 40 bucks or so.

Ok, in open loop the car runs in "limp" mode. A predetermined table that will operate the engine. Once it warms, the ecm relies on the sensors to give info for fuel and air among other things to make the engine run correctly.

Install the o2's and go from there.

Ok good deal 50, I will do that, thanks for your help bro,I figured the O2's would play a vital role in air fuel ratios on this car. I used to be an R&R tech at a tranny shop but I have zero experience with these cars or any hp ford for that matter. So instaed of just tearing into something I like to research it heavily from guys that know what's going on, to keep from making mistakes that could have been missed with proper research. thanks a bunch,I will reply as soon as I get the O2's in the car, now to find a good deal on some O2's,lol.
