Default Anyone with after market seats?

I bought some FX Tuner race seats that said they were for a Mustang but when I got them, they obviously were not for a Fox. So hubby has been trying to tweek the rails so they will fit. Still no luck. Since I got these from EBay, I'm almost stuck with them. Any ideas on how to tweek the mounting rails? Has anyone else done this? I need a drivers seat!!!

Can you use your existing seat brackets that were on the stock seats and mount them to the new seats? You might have to drill a couple of holes for the seat bolts that hold the seats to the rails to line up.

It is possible except for the bottom of the new seats, I'm not sure how the bolts would go through. Where the current bolts are, its almost like there is a piece of metal surrounding the hole only. Really sucks!!

using the stock rails would be the best bet I think.. this may be a little redneck but if you can't get them bolted on there you could always have something welded up..

Or you could get some seats out of a later modeled stang and put them it. That's what I did, look great and the BOLT RIGHT IN!!!

The only drawback is they sit about an inch taller than the stockers. Other than that, fit like a glove. Same seat track up to an 04.

No, the rears have to be modified. I've seen it done though, they look pretty sweet w/ matching reas. Mine are in good shape and the match is reasonably close so I'm not to pressed.
