speed densedy question
im am attempting to do a upgrade for a customer of mine but i am unsure of the things i need to make this work. ok heres the current layout. 86 gt T top mustang. flowmasters catted h pipe and mac shortys. stock 160 hp flat tappet cam non HO engine. what the plan is a rebuilt E7 block with ported E7 heads and a 95 cobra cam and rockers and the HO EFI intake now will the stock fuel system work or is this too extreame for a speed densedy system? or will this work at all cuz i was considering a E303 cam for this car it is a 5 speed.

RE: speed densedy question
cobra cam will be fine, stock duration, but a little more lift(.479/.479 with 1.7s)(as opposed to the gt stocker with .444 with 1.6s)
thx to adder for the cam numbers, cuz u know my *** didnt look those up, lol)
this is going to be on a e7 motors bottom end right? were not talking the 86 short block with the flat top pistons right??????

RE: speed densedy question
1.7 Ratio rockers increase lift by .30 if I remember correct. Pretty sure anyways... so that cam with 1.6 will be.449. If your going to be taking all that apart why not stick with the 1.7 Ratio roller rockers. They are still one of the best bangs for the buck I think....smooths out your valvetrain. As well not sure if he has the parts already or everything was free, it would be a sweet time for a nice intake!

RE: speed densedy question
I would say about 200 to 210ish at the wheels mabye a bit more pending on how much porting your doing on the heads.......who is doing the port work? Think about aftermarket throttle body and intake, they make a world of differencein conjenction with ported heads.
