87 5.0l gt cobra t-top
1st off ,do anyone knows if my mustang is a fox body?
2nd,can i put a gt 40 intake[>:] on my stock 5.0 HO block(wichive seen on some site)?
and wich one between mine and a lx one is more valuable for restoring?
[:@]i don't know if im just unnadjust but a lxis slightely faster as i raced one (82,83)

Its a Fox. You can put the GT-40 on the stock block, but while you are it you might as well get some GT-40 heads and a cam. Otherwise you'll regret not doing it. Yours would be nice to restore since its a T-top but don't screw it up and flex the body too much. I'll trade ya for my car lol. Oh ya your car isn't a GT Cobra. Its just a GT and not a Cobra.

Yes any mustang of that era is a Foxbody. Yours is fairly rare because of the T-tops. And yes, anything for the 5.0L will bold onto your block with the right amount of knowledge.

You and/or your car are probably canadian. In Canada, the GT was called a GT Cobra. It probably says Cobra on your hatch.... but you really only have a GT

what does cobra stands for? and fox?
..."actually, there was a 79, 80, and 81 cobra as well"....ive seen 2003 cobra but there is none in between?
and for mods, is it worth puting gt40 intake,cams and probably heads, if so what year of gt40 will fit?

as per '79,'80,'81 and '93cobra's, those are the only years that you could get a cobra fox body, but there are sn95 cobra's as well. And keep the t-top, I've got one and I love it(when its working).
