man good luck doing it with the motor in there.. it wouldnt be so bad if the intake and plenum were off..
ive seen guys do a real good job painting the bay with the heads off before..
if i were you.. i would go ahead and take the time and drop your wiring harness off the firewall
yeah, i was thinking about doing that...my buddy and his dad just swapped a wiring harness into his car, so i could easily get it out and back in with their help...but i just don't know if i want to go through all that...i am only doing the areas that are clearly visible to the eye, i will push all wires out of the way, and tape them down. i really don't wanna start unplugging **** cause with my luck my car will break then

i'm just gonna take my time (which is tough for me, i want **** done quick)..oh well, i'll let you guys know how it goes..

My engine is out, I'm going with the flat black speckle paint. Then going to reloom any of the wire harness that I can. Dose'nt show all of the imperfections.

funny you say that, i already painted my carpet black using the duplicolor paint, and was thinking about doing my dash...my dash is black and grey two tone, it's black on top, then gray...was thinking about painting it so its black - grey - black...and painting my center console black...when i get new headliner, it will be black...we'll see

for now, i'm dreading doing my engine bay haha

yeah, i was gonna go with the "back in black" kit from 50resto, but then found the paint at AutoZone, and figured why the hell not...my buddy just painted his entire interior with it, all black..i am away at school but will see it this weekend when i go home, if it looks half as good as your door turned out, then i'm gonna black mine out as well, and just leave my seats and seatblets grey
