Default Dyno results

They sucked. There wasn't much tuning to do. My af was already good. We did add some timing and it runs much better know. I only made 364 hp to the wheels at 6k rpm. I have two thinks holding me back the tuner said. First is my headers, my exhaust ports are a good bit bigger at the top than my header's are. He said that is where most of flow is, at the top of port, i guess it is time for custom headers. Second was my cam, it is a nitrous grind and right now i am not running the gas, he said that was holding me back big time too. So i def need some headers and i need to decide if i want to change cam, since i will be running N/A alot more than running nitrous. I am not looking into spending any money right now, so i will just have to be satisfied with the 364 hp to wheels. The dyno was a superflow, on the printout it says "STP corrected wheel power". Doe's anyone know what that means? I did not think to ask many questions, i was too mad. I made 6 pulls and that only cost $150.

STP correction just means the dyno adjusted the numbers for current air temps and such.

365rwhp is not bad out of a 351W
Thats about 450hp at the flywheel. Decent power from a street 351 if you ask me.

I'm making about the same.
I would say your cam specs are what are holding you back more than the 1 3/4 LT's
Power adder cams always make an N/A sacrifice to get the most of the power adder.

Your right about the cam. He did say that was the biggest thing holding me back. Over the winter i may take it out, sell it, and get another one made for a n/a engine.

I was expecting much more than that, but it's still a pretty high number.
My dad's cam is the same, car is reacts to nitrous very well, but all motor is just ok.

BTW, any idea how much reeves will charge to mill my heads .030" if I disassemble and clean them?

Another possible problem is i stop makeing hp @ 6k. I might have a spring issue, idk. But i'm ok with the #'s currently. 95, Reeve's send's their heads to some place off Davis. I cant remember the name of it, you can call them and see. Another good machine shop is in Macon, i've had them do work for me. The name is S&M racing off of pio nono.

yeah its good hp but with his mods should be 100rwhp more,i would be pissed, somthing dont seem right here, there is more to it than just cam an headers the headers are good size, dont add up an even with the right cam or bigger or little smaller you only gonna see 30 to 40 hp at max
