Need gear Help

Anyone know what gears come stock in a 1990 Auto GT?? And what are best to put in a Auto to get the most out of it not being a daily driver...Thanks

check the AX code on your ID tag in the drivers door...

and 4.10's work nicely in an AOD

get yourself a chiltons manual for that thing. the front couple pages decode the vin# and option codes. also make sure its a 8.8 too. I thought all stangs had 8.8s so when I ordered a diff cover for mine it was way to big, I guess mines a 7.5 rear end.
