Where to source an 8.8 rear
I live in an area where the fox chassie is a very popular thing. So anytime there is a junk 8.8 out of a fox it is either scooped up real fast or damn expensive. I know you can get them out of the Mark 8s and some T-birds. Are there any other vehicals out there that you can take 8.8s out of that will fit directly under an 89 fox? Just for ****s and giggles has anyone here taken and 8.8 out of a F150 and tried to just bolt it up or is that impossible without extensive fabrication
Thanks guys

lol as cheap as i can scam, I am sure everyone here knows exactly what they are worth. I have two you pull it junk yards near me where I would go first to look if there were any other vehicals out there that i could scam a rear out of. The largest you pull it in the country had 1 fox body mustang in the entire place. So that should tell ya how popular they are around me.
Also what rear did the quad headlight foxes with the 6cyl have in them?

Ha this guy lives within 5 mins of me, time to lock up the stang... Haha You wont find any mustangs at harrys in hazleton even though they have 4 they all are stripped. Go to the one in Allentown they have 5 foxes and a few tbirds/cougars. They are your best bet to get a 8.8. F150's wont work because they are way to large and setup for leaf spring.

I thought the sn axles were longer than fox axles, as far as adders comment goes.

Last weekend we scored an 8.8 ls 3.27 out of a 92 in good shape at pick n pull for $34 (51 out the door with core, tax, env). There are usually 1 or 2 complete axles around here. Usually they are 2.73's and 3.08's.
