Default bad head gasket what to do?

ok so i thought most of my oil leak was coming from my valve cover gasket. i took care of that issue and the car still smokes and leaks oil. i looked at the engine block and its coated with s***. i noticed it was mostly right at the head gasket seam where it meets the block. so i want to do the heads and cam. im going to just get the thumper ported combo for now. thats all i can afford. along with that im going to use either the tfs stage 1 or f-303. which of those 2 should i choose and what rocker ratio should i use. also while i have it out im going to redo the main and rod bearings. any advice while i have it all apart and is there anything else thats recomended while the engine is out. b4 i put it back in i will be replacing the clutch flywheel, preping the engine bay also.

The head gaskets don't leak oil.....

Also, I would save a little more and buy a better set of heads, they might be ported and all, but they are still E7's....you will want more. After spending $600 plus on them, you won't be happy.

Unless you have copper head gaskets more then likely they aren't leaking oil. Its probably just left over oil, the lower intake may be leaking, or the valve covers are still leaking.

Not true.....once the oil gets pumped up to the rocker arms via the push rods..it has to get back down to the oil pan some how......through what are known as the oil drain back passages....on a set of fel-pro 1011-2 head gaskets these holes/provisions on the head gasket didn't quite line up the way they were suppose too = defective gasket and I didn't realize it until the motor was in and running and it leaked at the corner[:@]....so anything is possible but not as likely as other leaks are

i was thinking i might just clean the engine block off and start by fixing the oil leaks i know of. rear main and oil pan. while i have the trans out i will be doing the clutch and everything also so hopefully after i get that done maybe i wont have the huge oil leaks.
