....it all depends on what you want to do with the car... there are units from D&D also AJE that allow stock read: "tough" components to the point that you can daily drive and abuse it plow over pot holes in the road, scuff curbs etc

here is part of an email I send to AJE asking their recommendation:
Subject: Re: Hi I am looking for a k-member for my 1987 ford mustang

MU-3010 $329 and MU-1000 $39 will let you run your stock a-arms and springs.

Drag racing def go for coil over setup light and adjustable
General use go for stock type A-arms and mild steel for the K member becase will not fatigue and crack with stress
