Default Help please

I have a 88 Stang with a 5.0L the car ran fine till one day it just cut off i was told it was the fuel pump so i had it replaced with a brand new pump which i bought at autozone. After i had my buddy install the pump the car gave a hard time to start up we sprayed starting fuild in the intake and finaly the car started up ran for about 2 hours then shut off and wont start up anymore. I changed all the spark plugs and wires new cap & rotor New Battery. The engine just cracks but wont fire up if you spray starting fuild in the intake it wants to kick over but wont start can someone please give me any ideals on what it can be?

Well obviously it's fuel related. When you turn the key on, not to cranks, just to the run position, do you hear the pump energise for 2 seconds? If not, you could have a bad relay, inertia switch or a wiring problem.

I just re read your first post. Have you checked for spark? I thought you said it would start w/ starting fluid but you said it wants to start but doesn't.
