Default fixed all my problems.

so i fixed all my problems today.

#1 what use to happen is the car would not hold an idle when the engine was cold and would die constantly till she got kind of warm. so i just took the IAC off and look at it, black as funk in there, so i carb cleaned the crap out of it, now its shiney again in there. stuck it back on, fired it up on a cold engine and she held her own at 850RPMS, just perfect.

#2 i got my C&L 73MM maf and i put that bad boy on there and holy crap....
some of you may remeber my previous story about my dispointing dyno....well putting this thing on there make it feel like a whole new car, seriously its an "***-o-meter" mod i put on. it pulls hard as funk to 5300rpms. it use to drop off at 4000-4300rpms like she lost her breath. that C&L guy wasnt joking that this would fic my issues

#3 i got all my wiring ready for my 3G swap for tomorrow, now i just need the D plug and stator plug put on along with the alt and thats done!

#4 i might be picking up a tarus fan for 25 bucks tomorrow too if im lucky....well see how good it looks. it was in a car wreck from the drive side fender

today has been a really great day!

anyway congrats on figuring out your problems, I think you should reset the ECU if it wwasnt with the new MAF, since it has to learn new perameters now

it would have helped, but it still would have hindered my performace since the stock sn-95 maf can only pull 725-775(right in there somewhere)CFM's or something like that. but yea you very correct about upgrading it, deff needs to be done if you get a bigger TB, i knew it needed to be done, but i figured it would be ok till i bought an aftermarket on.guess not eh? lol thanks adder
