Default 94 cobra

my 94 cobra needs new piston rings, can someone help me determine if i should do this myself or get it done i know what im doing and i have the tools but ive never done rings before and i dont wanna screw the car up, also if i get it done how much do you think it would cost. even if you cant answer all my questions any advice would help thanks

For a shop to overhaul your motor.....??? it'd be cheaper for you to buy a reman short or long block ready to go from a place like JASPER..........anyway it's not hard if you have general automotive knowledge and you know how to check for things like wear on the crank, wear on the cylinders like how much of a ridge on the upper cylinder there is...if any how to use a ridge reamer to remove it...or if alot then have it bored......there are a lot of little checks that you need to look for while disassembling in order to know how and what to proceed with in the rebuild
