Assuming driver mod...
What should my car run tomorrow night in the 1/4 mile?
Weather/location: 50 degrees in Middle Georgia (silver dollar)
Car: 1995 Mustang GT convertible, 5 speed, 160k+ miles
Tires: 17" fuzion tires @ 25 psi
Mods:
-Removed air silencer
-Timing set to 14-15 degress to run 93 octane
-2.25" straight pipe exhaust, no cats, mufflers, or resonators, but X-piped andexits in the stock location.
-Motive 3.73 gears properly setup
-Removed spare tire, jack, rear seats, rear speakers/amps, trunk lining, sound deadener under rear seat, smog pump, and of course the exhaust is a lot lighter.
-Front sway bar disconnected
Launching at 1200-1500 RPMs and running to 5500-5700 rpms in every gear, what should my car run assuming driver's mod?

yeah but he's gonna be launching really soft @ 1200 to 1500.......almost like takin off from a stop light in city traffic.....so that's why I based my response as such he's goona lose a lot with that soft launch..he'll really have to make up for it on top end

Launched @ 3k-3.5k (dont exactly remember)
Tires spun at first but then grabbed hard, barked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gear. In the middle of 3rd my tires lost traction, but thengrabbed.Timing wasn't set at all, just ear tuned. Shifting right before therev limiter.
Other runs were 15.1's but had my girlfriend in the car and different timing set.

Set the timing, and boot the damn girl. how are you going to get a good idea of what it runs with an extra 100+- lbs.
It was probably mostly your timing. I ran 14.8 @ 94with my timing bumped to 12*. My car has 3.08's and had 198k on it at the time. Elevation of my track is about 3500ft.
