cam question

Default cam question

I just got a stock 302 with 36,000. miles on it and i'm going to install it but i don't like stock stuff . What cam can I use on a stock 5.0 without having to change the heads, springs, or rods????? I know someone knows so let me know please.

yeah think about it if you go with a bigger cam then u need smaller push rods at least....

dont half *** it on the valve train. bent valves = bad day.

you go any bigger than what the stock cam is then the springs won't have the proper open and closed pressures to keep the valves open and or closed at high rpm's and the valves will float and you'll never reach the full rpm potential the new bigger cam has to offer....[&:]

If your intake and heads are stock don't bother with an aftermarket cam.

and stock springs wont suport any aftermarket cam
