RE: cam question
I've been running an x303 for well over 20,000 miles with stock pushrods & valvetrain. 5.0m&sf tested the letter cams on a stock engine, it came out on top. They tested a custom grind & it came out a few hp more than the x though. I would recommend at least changing the intake manifold, it's not necessary though. I run 12's with my stock heads. x303, exp intake, full exhaust & quite a bit of timing. stock suspension & street tires too
I would definitely recommend putting some money in the valvetrain though if you do run a bigger cam. Mine is going through hell right now. Only reason i'm not too concerned about it is I've almost got a tt351w engine finished & ready to go in.

RE: cam question
the X303 is .542/.542, there is no way you have stock valvetrain. I have done literally 100's of sets of SBF heads and I can tell you the stock springs will bind @ approx .500 which is why .475ish is the MAX lift that should be used.
you sir, are a dumbass
