Guys who launch hard...you get this?(picture)
Ever since I started running my MT's this last year my car has started to develope kind of a wrinkle on both sides, just behind the 1/4 window. You guys get this? I have subframe connectors also BTW. I am going to paint my car this winter and I want to fix this, but I don't plan on being a chick about how I drive it afterwards. Is this something that I am going to have to live with or what?

Looks like someone needs a weld in roll cage

I think I am going to put some thru the floor subframes in this winter along with my weld on subframes I already have, hope that will help.

Problem with that plan is it's not your floor thats flexing any more
its your roof, only way you're going to stiffen that up is with a cage.

I've seen it on one other hatch.
It just make sense though. That wrinkle is coming from
all the stresses beging transfered down from the roof thru
that qrt window pillar due to the hatch not adding any strength.
only way you can stop those forces is to reinforce that load line
coming down from the roof to rear qrt with a cage.
If you really think about how the hatch body is made too, its an
obvious weak spot in the body.
