I'm going to get in trouble for telling you this, but you aren't wrong. It's a little-known secret - You just have to get the sequence right...

up, down, up, down, left, right, left, right A, B, A, B, Select, Start

[8D]
I want to be able to do this... where is the A button and B button at?

im pretty sure the A button is on the left side of the steering wheel and the B button is on the right side. The letters are hidden by little pictures of trumpets.

I may be wrong, But I don't think that B&M made a shift kit for a '93 AOD. The last year that they made one for was a '92. I called them when I had an AOD in my '93 and was told that the AOD changed in '93 and because Ford was going to the AODE in '94, they weren't going to sell kits for the '93. >>>> http://www.bmracing.com/index.php?id...&subcat=21

And I did the 1-2-1 shift all the time and I had no problems at all. When I did the AOD to T5 swap the AOD had almost 230,000 miles on it and it never missed a beat or slipped. And before you ask, myengine is far from stock...
