1992-1993 I like them the best they have all the goodies the 16" pony wheels, the monochrome paint, and 1993 doesnt matter becasue I will be replacing the engine with one I have had in the works ever since I had the 1991 car. Actually its at the machine shop now funny I just sent it there a few weeks ago and not its useless to me!!!!

Auto because I just bought a $2000 lentech trans about 800 miles on it damn if Im going to give it up, i even made custom parts for it. anyways thanks guys and that whit notch I showed the picture of was an example of what I hope to find, THANK YOU, I would assume the budget they will give me for my car will be about $7000, thats what it costs about to get a CLEAN mostly STOCK car IF it can be found!!! IF not please tell me how much $$ you guys think it WILL cost

ok my 1991 got biffed yesterday, even totaled[>:].
The assessor/inspector just came to my house, I showed her the car, she found much more damage than I had. She seemed to strongly hint (she is not allowed to say) that the car IS totalled. She even suggested to me that I take the money and buy the car back to take its parts. She told me "I assueme that you would wish to keep the car" I said no I only want the parts I spent $5k on, I said that I could bolt on most of the stock stuff,

because you know... it really matters!

that is seriously the STUPIDEST statement ive ever heard. What makes a 4cyl body worth less? the fact that it has MANY years less twisting from torque? Its the same god damn unibody!

Not trying to be a dick. But i dont think a conversion will go for 18k, unless buyer isnt' aware of it. These cars will one day be the next stang classic and you will be hard pressed to find someone willing to pay that kind of money for it. Example: there was a guy in north ga that had a 91 coupe that was absolutely beautiful, everything upgraded and nothing original, it too had a 347. He was asking 9k. I called about it and first question i asked was is it a conversion. He said it was and hehad several people call and look at the car but no one was interested in spending that kind of money in a conversion car. Now, we all know that we will never get out of our cars what we have in them, but it's even harder to get close with a conversion. But it all depends on buyer, maybe some wont care.
