Default tire size

Will moving to a 16 inch rim change what the spedometer reads?? Also I put 225 60r 16 on my car and it would rub.. What is the stock size for and 86? Thanks...

The rim size has nothing to do with the speed, it is the total height of the tire. If you have the old tire size and the new tire size you can compare them with this web link. The taller the tire the slower your speedo will read because it is less turns per mile.
