Well if it's not a dd I would pull the motor and start from scratch. You know hot tank the block etc. It will save you a ****load of trouble down the road.

Sorry for getting off the subject, but will the harmonic balancer causea knocking noise (valve train rattle)?

just wanted to update everyone with the situation, i have decided not to short step the process and put just bearings in, im going to pull the motor probly starting the begining of next week so that i can see whet size bearings to order in my kit, im going with a full engine rebuild kit with main rod and cam bearings, replacing valve seals replacing rings and oil pump is new already 25% more volume, ill try my hardest to get some pics up on the progress step by step for youy guys, i just got my digitalback so i can do it now. plus some oics of the car with new tires and wheels before and after
