Dont bother changing the rear oil, it does not get all that dirty or hott, this was taken from a guy who rebuilds em everyday at a shop. I only changed mine when i put my 410 in.

rear ends easy...take out bottom bolts on the diff...then crack the sides n top and the bottom will then beable to come out enuf for the fluid to drain out...then take the cover all the way off...clean the gasket off the houseing n cover...i usually check everything clean it out then lay down a bead of rtv and put the cover back on bolt it down...and fill thru the fill hole in the top of the housing.

Tranny is easy also. You will need to get a little pump that fits on top of a fluid bottle (i got one for like 5 bucks at o'reilly). Then there are just two plugs on the passenger side. take out top one first then bottom one (incase fill plug is stuck, you don't want to be stuck with an empty tranny). Once all the fluid drains, put bottom plug back in and fill through the top hole. Put plug back in and you're done!

i realize it wouldnt be ideal..but even if the top plugs stuck..u can take the shifter off n fill thru the rectangle box that the shifter sits on...so its not a loss even if it is stuck..

^^^ Good point, that's very true. I guess the way I described is just a little precautionary step so you don't have to worry about it.
