what makes me wonder is the rpm that he is doing and then how the nitrous is "shocking" the block. both of those factors kill stock blocks

I had doubts when he told me it was a stock block untill I saw the car with the hood off for the first time. I saw him hit the recall button on the tach and saw the 8k rpms too. He told me that the builder also dyno'd the engine and it made 510hp at the flywheel. I was kinda skiddish of building a 347 myself before I met Randy. Now that I have seen what I seen, it gave me the confidence to go ahead and build one for myself, beings I am never gonna spin mine as hard as him, I should do just fine.

510 isnt that far out of the max hp range for a stock block.
but that rpm really makes me scratch my head.
exspecially since he's had the motor for 3 years.
it really surprises me.
