Default CAI and Tune? Or not

So I'm thinking of getting a CAI for my fox. Do I absolutely need to tune it or not? I had to on my '05. C&L CAI w/SCT XCal2. So again, do I or don't I need to tune with the Fox? Hmmmmmmmm

There's also no need for a CAI on a 5.0, just throw in a K&N filter.

fenderwell is better since it doesnt suck in the hot air from the engine compartment

also the ebay kits are decent from what I hear, just make sure to get a K&N filter even if it comes with a filter

A cai through the fenderwell to suck fresh air will outperform a stock air box equiped with a k&n anyday......Cai has mandral bends and larger diameter piping for a smoother free flow

I'll admit it will flow better in a fox, might even get an extra 2 hp. I was thinking about on an SN95, which already has a fenderwell system, because thats what I own, where the CAI would net you next to nothing.

i had a stock set up with k&n boxed filter and ordered an ebay fenderwell pipe kit and just put a nice filter on and noticed the difference right away with power and the nice little noise it gives off ha
