Default Driveability with 18's

i was thinknig of going with the 18x9 black deep dish bullit out back with a 17x8 black bullit up front...has anyone done this on a fox, the 17 front 18 back? how do you guys think it would look? would i still have goo driveability with a 18 out back, it is my DD...what tire size would i go with out back? 275/??/18

My buddy has those same wheels in 18" he runs 275/35/18 out back and 255/40/18 in front... I think he has narrower ones up front, but theyre both 18's

gunna need a real narrow sidewall

might even rub depending on your springs which look lowered already

yeah well i work at les schwab so ive seen a couple foxs come in with 17s and 18s on but from my experience working on foxs with 18s is that you really need to go with a small sidewall (rubberband tire) which will really hurt you in the long run because if your not careful and hit a pothole or something, you will ruin not only the tire but the rim also... i had 18s on mine after started working here and switched back because i bent one from a small pot hole...

so a 275/40/18 wouldn't be good? how about a 275/35/18?

and what do you mean it will hit my springs?

I'd stay 17's. Especially if you do 5 lug rear, rubbing problems car core with a wide rearend and 18's with stock backspacing rims.

i did some re-searching and this guys stang seems to be fine with 18x9 front and 18x10 rear...
