RE: my 347 build thread
I did my own tuning, all the dyno man did was run the dyno. I drove (I guess you can call it that) my own car and had my own tools. Even the little I did made a huge difference in drivability.

RE: my 347 build thread
I built my 347, had all the balancing done at the best machine shop in my area. I clearanced the block and crankshaft myself. I ain't even going to get into cost of the shortblock. I was ready to explode by the time I got it stacked. I'm running a Holley 750cfm 3310S on mine so I can do all my tuning. I will be puting the driveline ine the car when I get home from work in another week. It's been a long build but it's finally coming together. I did put the "Hammer" shifter in the car last time I was home , along with my new rear end with 3.90 gears. I am putting it in an 88 model Notchback. I was also pondering the idea of getting a personalized liscense plate that reads "Z06KILA". But I ain't gonna get that untill I see the time slips from the track. No sense in putting the plate on there before I know if it will kill one or not. We will see.
