Default Sweet smell of victory (pics inside)(D.U.W.)

Little back story for you. My buddy and I have almost the same set up in our cars. He has a 1993 vert with a Trick Flow set up and a TKO 600 trans. The only diff between our cars is, I have a 347 stroker, C4 trans, and a hatchback. We both have the same heads, cam, and intake.

He's been joking alot lately to everybody that he was going to either hang with me or beat me. He really had nothing to lose.

Long story short, we raced tonight from a 10 MPH role. I smoked him by more then4 cars. Afterwards, he came up to me and said, "man, I thought my car was fast. After that, I feel like I'm driving a souped up Honda." I couldn't help but laugh.

I can't wait to get my sub frame connectors installed. I want to see what it can do from a dead stop. It's running so good right now. I still haven't had the chip made for it yet. This car is going to be a N/A beast.

Don't laugh, I know his Stang looks a heck of alot better then mine.
My beast

His Stang

[sm=boosign.gif]I guess everybodys hoods are retarted but yours. My multicolored car is pretty retarted next to your primer gray car. Why do you have to be so negative?

i'd rather see a car that looks rough but has a kickass engine done for it and done right! It only means that the important stuff is done first. Take a car with a crappy driveline and paint it up, It wont go faster but crappy paint can go quick! Thumbs up to ya and cant wait to see it when the body is done!

looks good in the bay!!! so what'll it run in the 1/4?? what cam and what heads?? fill us in give us a short build list...I'm interested as I got a 347 goin in right now and hope it'll out do my 306 I just pulled ...I'm a little concerned it may not out do my 306 as it was bad ace!! and put away a few 347 equiped cars...the only change for me in my build will be the 347 short block...same heads, cam and intake

Your car looks...wow. Lol but the engine bay looks great. But it looks like you just need a paint job to have a sick car. For your friends convertible, I don't prefer them but his looks nice.

Nice to see and hear you got the Austin Powers special running good! car has come a long way from when I first seen it on here. Kinda liking the head lights, where you pick them up from? I'd like to put projectors in mine but not sure yet, seen some one piece projectors on a GT a few days ago that actually looked good. Nice choice on the hood glad you don't live too close to me or I'd be upset mine is the only one I've seen live ...... so far.
