hi i have a stock 1995 gt "5.0" "had headers and h pipe with 133k on it. it feals like there is a miss but its only noticeable sometimes and the engine light comes on after driving for a little while so i went to plug it into the scanner i have "does obd1 2 annd the new can" i noticed that the obd 1 hook up doesnt match but the obd2 does so i heated the car up and treied to run the scan and all it does is say vehicle not responding it says this with and without the check engine light on..any ideas or experiance?

 

... obd2 scanner wont work on obd1 car.... thats it. Theres a reason it doesnt fit.

As for the light, it could be a number of things.. I had a light that would come and go randomly, turns out I cracked an o2 sensor. Take it to a shop, have them run it.

And with that many miles, you otta run kerosine thru the crankcase along with new plugs, cap, wires, get a K&N filter, too.
