Haha just run her till she blows! Anything lower than 2 grand for an already built remanufactured 5.0 motor would be a steal.
ignore the noob.
I'm not a 'noobie'. I used to post here a few years back under a different login. This account is a noobie one. I don't see the criticism of my statement either? Was it the price bit?
so then what happened to that account?? why the new account???

Honestly I don't even remember what my old login name was back here, let alone the password. I don't even think I have posted since 03 or 04. My 03 Cobra was like brand new when I was posting here. I was referred by a good friend who posts here, and I remembered I had used to post here.

hey guys, thanks for the input. I would do most of the work myself, but I am still learning and dont have all the know-how, or space to do so. But I am learning and on my next stang I plan on doing 100% of the work.

And Capris Debris, I read your write up and I found it VERY informative

thanks.

Thanks, that's the main reason for my thread. To take the mystery out of working on your own car or engine. To help the guys just getting their feet wet and not too sure what's involved with re-building a motor. If you get the right books and talk to the right people, it's all just nuts and bolts with nothing to be afraid of. Passing on my humble knowledge and experience is a fun thing to do. Knowing it may help someone... priceless. LOL.

Hey Man,

I am from Hamitlon, Not to far from you. But if you are looking for a rebuid there are many people out there. But I dont see the harm in adding a cam and some free flowing heads while its ripped apart. But I know DaSilva racing just opened their new shop in pickering. And Nick auto, rev N' high. All in the GTA area. I advide you to join GTAMC.com (Great Toronto Area Mustang Club)My used name there is fox.6 There is GREAT info there (no bashing to this forum) But GTAMC is closer to you. Ad the classifieds section is also quite GREAT. PM me for more info if needed. And if you join be sure to put my user name under the referal spot.

Nik
