Default internals

Was gonna go the 347 stroker route but after doing much research i dont think i can afford it. So if i go with http://store.summitracing.com/partde...0B&FROM=MGwhat kind of internals do i need to get my stock motor over 300hp. I have 3.73 gears, bbk 70mm tb, 70mm bbk egr plate, bbk cai, underdrive pullies, bbk shorties, o/r h-pipe, and flowmaster catback exhaust on order. So what suggestions do you guys have for getting this stock 302 over the 300hp mark?

not buying that kit, you can piece together one for cheaper and make the same if not more power

and what do you suggest if not the kit? And what about internals such as crank, pistons, cam, rollers, rods, etc....

stock crank stock rods with good boltsor a low cost aftermarket rod and the lightest off the shelf piston you can find. 0 deck the block.Call Cam Motion for a cam. stock lifters. and the heads you want with the springs Cam Motion tells you to run. and rev the crap out of it.

so basically pull the motor and have the deck machined and just change out the pistons, cam, springs? This motor is bone stock and has 120k miles on it. 90 GT

No, I would have it bored. and dont forget the heads. if you got the extra cash you should have it balanced to help when you arespinning thecrap out of it.Is this your only transportation? if not get the copmpression up more if you can afford it.they make thin head gaskets now to help also.

Prime is right. I was just saying how to do it my way LOL I have been wanting to do a high RPM High HP motor for a while. with small CID to make HP you are gone to have to rev it. That why I said good rods/bolts and the lightest pistons you could find. But at the same time you are only looking to make 300 hp/ ok stock rods stock crank make sure the motor dont need to bebored. good set of head and good cam and you are there. Have fun!
